Most estate plans cover property and finances but overlook the digital side: Facebook, Gmail, Netflix, iCloud, Amazon, and dozens of accounts executors never knew existed. Kind Closure closes that gap with a simple, privacy-first workflow.

Plan ahead: Use our free Digital Footprint Checklist and Legacy Planner to map accounts and record what you want done. Add notes for your Digital Executor. Optionally include guidance on where the file and passphrase will be kept — without ever storing the passphrase itself.

Your lockbox: When you’re ready, pay a one-time fee and download an encrypted .legacy file. Encryption uses AES-256-GCM with PBKDF2 key derivation, performed locally in your browser before anything leaves your device. You store the file and share the passphrase separately.

For executors: Upload the file to our free Executor Portal, enter the passphrase, and receive tailored closure steps for each account — including bereavement links and pre-written notification text.
